Safety Harness Eyebolts : Installation and Testing

Urban Abseil Ltd can install, test, certificate and re-certificate safety eyebolts. These safety eyebolts can be used for Fall Arrest, Fall Restraint, Work Positioning and Rope Access depending on the specific requirements of each site.
All installation, testing and certification will be carried out according to the following standards:

BS EN795:1997

Protection against falls from height- Anchor devices - Requirements and testing.

BS 7883:2005 - Conforming to BS EN795 ( amended August 2007)

Code of Practice for the design, selection, installation ,use and maintenance of anchor devices.

BS 7985:2002

Code of Practice for the use of rope access methods for industrial purposes

BS 8437:2005

Code of Practice for the selection, use and maintenance of personal fall protection systems & equipment in the workplace.

BS EN365:2004

Personal Protective equipment and other equipment for the protection against falls from height - General requirements for the instructions for use, maintenance, Periodical examination, repair, marking and packaging.

   

Urban Abseil Ltd can also carry out the periodic examinations on all PPE used in conjunction with Safety Harness Eyebolts.
